With the help of Dr. Ron McCormick and six volunteers, PCRS conducts weekly surveys in which we document nesting sites, species, and activity of all types of birds. We map the nesting sites using new GPS technology and enter the data into our GIS database. By documenting the avian species using the site, we will be able to mark the effect our restoration work has on the success of those species.
