Office and Field Volunteer
Opportunities

PCRS provides many opportunities for all community members to
become involved by volunteering in our restoration and
monitoring projects, by staffing a booth, attending meetings,
sitting on one of our committees, or working in the office.
Through
an agreement with Metro Parks, we have accepted the
responsibility of restoring and maintaining their properties
located in the Puget Creek Watershed. We have a similar
agreement with Pierce County Parks and Recreation for the beach
section, purchased with their Conservation Future funds. Metro
Parks has also supplied a garbage can, a portable bathroom, and
a container for scrap vegetation for volunteers to use when
conducting restoration work.
