Community Service Hours

 

Over the years, local universities, colleges, high schools, and many local community groups and individuals have participated with PCRS by removing invasive plants. PCRS works with the biology teachers in our local schools, providing students with the opportunity to earn extra credit by helping with restoration activities. PCRS has made this a program whereby we provide a slide presentation so participants can learn about invasive plants and how to eradicate them. In addition, PCRS has programs in place with Tacoma Community College, University of Puget Sound, and other schools where the students can receive community service credit hours.
