Our Mission
Puget Creek Restoration
Society protects, enhances, and restores the Puget Creek Watershed and other
streams, wetlands, and green spaces. We serve the South Puget Sound
communities and invite their participation through hands-on restoration,
research, education, and advocacy, and by promoting a sense of stewardship.

Click the PROJECT button (on the left) for information on
the Boardwalk Project! Additional donations are still needed to make this
project a reality. Can you help?

Puget Creek/Gulch is a 66-acre natural area
in Tacoma's North End. One of only three salmon-bearing streams within the
city limits. Now you have an opportunity to join in the ongoing restoration of
this stream. Progress is already apparent. Coho salmon returned in autumn of
2000 and 2002 and again in 2003, with chum salmon also. Puget Creek Restoration Society represents a
team effort of a wide variety of concerned citizens involved in the
restoration, protection and enhancement of the Puget Creek/ Puget Gulch area
of North Tacoma. Stop by and visit us!
